A small family, one big love.
We're the family behind Louie's Dachshunds — a boutique breeding program devoted to the mini dachshund breed. Every puppy is raised in our home, hand-socialized, and matched thoughtfully with the right family.
Our story
It started with a little red boy named Louie who stole our hearts and rearranged our lives. He became the reason we fell in love with the breed and, eventually, why we became breeders ourselves. Today our program stays intentionally small so every puppy gets the same attention Louie did.
We focus on temperament first, then structure, then color. Our dogs are family — they sleep on the couch, hike with us, and are health-tested before ever being bred.
